Ferndale on Republic, previously known as Brightwater Commons and prior to that, The Randburg Waterfront, has won the hearts of the Ferndale and greater Randburg communities since it underwent a large scale redevelopment in December 2019. It compromises approximately 53 000 m² in total. of this, roughly 24 000m² forms part of the community shopping centre, with 15 000m² compromising of a value node, while 13 000m² is dedicated to studio space for Urban Brew Studios. With over 90 stores, the centre is anchored by Pick n Pay, Checkers, Dis-Chem, Food Lover’s Market, Ignite Fitness, Home Stuff and Clicks and is easily accessible from Republic Road and Cross Street.
