Kuruman Mall Upgrade & Extension

Moolman Group, in partnership with Kuruman Eiendomsontwikkelaars, acquired the former Shoprite Centre on Livingstone Street in 2013. The existing 12,800 m² centre was subsequently redeveloped and expanded into the 27,150 m² Kuruman Mall, which opened in 2015.

Situated in the heart of Kuruman’s CBD, directly opposite a prominent taxi rank, the mall is easily accessible to residents and travellers. It has developed into an important commercial hub serving the local community, as well as miners, farmers and tourists from surrounding areas. Anchored by Shoprite, Checkers and Clicks, the centre offers a varied retail mix that includes Totalsports, Sportscene, Foschini and Mr Price.

Kuruman Mall is now set to undergo a further redevelopment, adding 315 m² of retail space and refreshing the overall shopping environment. Planned improvements include a façade upgrade, repainting of the building, new floor tiles and updated pause areas, creating a more contemporary and welcoming experience for shoppers.
